This was a project done in Painting I that involved using overlapping, diminishing size, and other things. Since I loved the broken color technique that I liked so much like I did with my Magica painting, I tried it out with this one.
It's based from a photo of Flamingos taken at Disneyworld Animal Kingdom in 2004. The flamingos in the photo were white, but I painted them pink instead. The little white birds are called Ibis if I remember right.
There will be four parts to this, as with the canvas being so bowed that the lighting would be off if I were to piece the four scans together.
