This is just a newer design for my old fursona, Salty. You can see here old 2004 design here.
Salty Wolf is my original fursona created back around 1991-93 when I was mostly a Super Mario Brothers super show fangirl. I was about 7 or 8 then so I pretended that I knew the Mario gang and that I, Salty, was their pet. I don't remember what colors I gave her back then, but I remember she started out being a mutt before she became a wolfdog. I can't remember when I decided her to be a wolfdog, but it could be around 1995 when a certain wannabe sled dog appeared *coughcough* Originally, she had a sister named Shenzi, who was my best friend's character.
(New story for Salty)
Salty originally was a stray, half starving around the streets of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario and Luigi were still bachelors then and where living in a place of their own. Mario took notice of the dirty, skinny mutt, and, noticing her friendlyness, took her in. After feeding her and bringing her back up to her original health, Salty's fur became a glossy, beautiful silver color.
It was then learned that Salty used to belong to a captain on the harbor around Pianta Island. A few months before Salty was found the captain passed away from pneumonia, and, feeling devastated, Salty left the ship. But since the wolfdog refused to go back, it was decided for Mario and Luigi to adopt her for the meantime. Peach meanwhile has taken a great interest to her, and before long she became the most pampered wolfdog you have ever seen. In later years she became a loyal protector to Mario and Peach's two children.
Critiques are much appreciated. I don't do full poses often because I feel I have so much trouble with the anatomy.
She is NOT A LUPE. DON'T YOU DARE try to pass her off as one

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
